Bidco Uganda Limited Sweeps Recognitions at the East Africa Brand Quality Awards 2024

Bidco Uganda Limited last Friday swept four awards at the East Africa Brand Quality Awards held at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala.

The awards celebrate excellence, honor innovation, and embrace progress. Each year, the awards ceremony has grown in stature, showcasing the brightest stars in the East Africa region’s business landscape.

At this year's awards, Bidco Uganda Limited took home four platinum awards as indicated below:

Leading FMCG Manufacturer in East Africa - Bidco Uganda Most Preferred Edible Vegetable Oil - Fortune Butto Best Laundry Soap Manufacturer - Whitestar Magic Best Washing Detergent Manufacturer - Whitestar Magic

Earlier, Bidco Uganda Limited was recognized as the Best Visionary Manufacturing Company of the year 2024. This was at the Visionaries of Uganda Awards held at Serena Hotel in Kampala.

Mr. Amin Bubu, the Regional Sales Manager, Bidco Uganda Limited, in an interview said that "It speaks volumes to us."

"It gives us direction. We have to go back and continue to grab, grow, and become the leading company in terms of market share in Africa," added Mr. Amin.

However, he said that it also poses a challenge of having to maintain the same standards.

"It's a challenge. We have to always maintain our position as the number one company in the country.
